Real Madrid Set for Major Coaching Overhaul Ahead of New Season

Real Madrid is undergoing a significant transformation in its coaching structure as the club prepares for the upcoming season. Following the confirmation of Xabi Alonso as the successor to Carlo Ancelotti, the Spanish giants have started implementing changes across their academy teams.

One of the most notable shifts involves the departure of Raul Gonzalez, who has decided to leave his role after six years at the helm of Real Madrid Castilla. Raul, a club legend and longtime figure in the Real Madrid coaching setup, reportedly left with a heavy heart.

According to sources close to the situation, including Spanish outlet Relevo, Raul was disappointed after being passed over for the head coaching position for the third time. Despite his relatively successful stint with Castilla and strong reputation in Germany, Raul's dream of leading the first team remains unfulfilled.

The reshuffle extends beyond Castilla as Real Madrid C is also bracing for a coaching change. With Arbeloa moving up, candidates like Alberto Toril and Sergio Garcia are being considered to take over his previous position.
