Monaco, on the other hand, prefers an optional clause that gives them flexibility to evaluate Fati’s performance before committing to a full transfer. Another sticking point is the financial package.

The reported purchase fee stands around €15 million, but neither side has confirmed the figure. Additionally, Monaco is only willing to cover 40% of Fati’s salary—considered excessive by Ligue 1 standards—leaving Barcelona to either shoulder the rest or find another compromise.
